The Mule rack was designed as a rugged aerodynamic gear basket; it's lightweight and comes with an aluminum wind deflector.  It mounts to most shapes of factory racks (round, square, rectangular and aerodynamic style) including aftermarket crossbars Yakima's® ,Thule's® and Safari to name a few.  We have recently redesigned this work horse to have a lower profile 6" tall vs. 7.25" and we have incorporated two tabs in the back of the rack to mount rear lights.
