Unzip the cover, roll out the horizontal front section of the frame, extend out the horizontal supports until the awning is taught, drop the legs from the horizontal front section, velcro down the awning to the support poles, and pull up a chair.  In strong winds there is also the option of attaching guy ropes to the corners. 

We also love our beige coloured "Desert" canvas range, and we believe this is a huge advantage over dark green awnings which tend to trap the heat, adding quite a few unwanted degrees to the air temperature underneath.
